So far I had not taken pictures inside the türbe of the holy man to whom this whole complex is dedicated. But during a visit in June 2012 I found it opened, so here we are.
The decoration of the walls and the dome inside Hacı Bayram’s mausoleum are in imperial Ottoman style (17th – 19th century) and is called ‘kalem işi’ (= work of the pen/paint brush). Recurrent motifs are the ‘buket’ (flower bouquet) and the ‘kandil’ (hanging mosque lamp).
