The decoration of the walls and the dome inside Hacı Bayram’s mausoleum are in imperial Ottoman style (17th – 19th century) and is called ‘kalem işi’ (= work of the pen/paint brush). Recurrent motifs are the ‘buket’ (flower bouquet) and the ‘kandil’ (hanging mosque lamp).
A viewer informed me the picture as shown previously had a fault, I replaced it with a correct version. Such feedback is always appreciated.
