Emily is a captain of the 2008 JV BFA Comet Lacrosse team. The squad is more than two/thirds newbies to the sport, but they are an athletic group and will learn fast. It'll be fun to watch them come together.

Update: Emmer came into the season battling painful foot/ankle alignment problems that effected her knees and sidelined her for the first two games. The Orthos and PTs worked to get her back -- including a manual hip adjustment -- only to see her severly sprain her left ankle vs Lamoille. So Coach tapes both Em's ankles before every practice and every game so Cap can play, ala a mini Willis Reed. So in most of these game galleries, those aren't socks she's wearing -- that's the taping to manage the pain!
