Migraine May 27

I woke up Tuesday with a migraine; "atypical" is the word a doctor used to describe the kind I get. I don't care if it's typical or atypical or something all together different. It is a pain that dances around my left eye, enjoying itself on and off for days sometimes.
It's gone today.
I took the camera into the kitchen tonight, struck by the beauty of the setting sun and the lighting it brought to the room. Then I turned ... there, on the refrigerator, the shadow of my head, split by the refrigerator door with a bolt of sunlight running through the temple.
That's my migraine. Atypical.

I'm sorry to hear that you had a horrible migraine. At least you were able to capture that cool picture! You have a pretty nice looking refrigerator. Is it new? I've been wanting to replace my smelly, old refrigerator with something more chic like yours. http://www.infinityappliance.net/dishwashers.html

I've seen that looking back at me in the mirror before. I don't get them but a couple of times a year, but when I do whooo. My solution? I take two Excedrin Migraine formula. I take a hot show spraying water all over my head face and shoulders. Then I lie down in bed, pillow supporting my neck, arms out stretched and I do breathing exercises. Deep breath in through the nose, hold it a minute, out slowly through the mouth. I do that until I fall asleep. Works 90% of the time.

I know the feeling. Nothing steals parts of your life like headaches.

A very good way to show us mirgraine. I think it comes across in this picture very well. The bright light, the split, as I would assume a headache would feel like, well, migraine in your case. Great job. Hope it will pass soon.
