For Mr. M May 26

Not much of a photo, I know, but it oddly seems to fit my thoughts today. The 87 year old man I interviewed two months ago was killed in a car accident yesterday. I was glad I had the opportunity to sit with him over a period of several days, telling people it was all just an interview, but mainly because he was incredible company and a fantastic story teller. The only hard part of the talks we had was when he spoke about his wife and his eyes misted. She died less than a year ago. I'm glad they're together again, but he will definitely be missed.

can't think of a better place I'd rather see when I go, than that beautiful sky with yummy clouds..

One of the really cool things you can do with photo a day, document a time in your life. Some days I consider photographing something, anything mundane just to have something to post...but it's the continuity that draws photos over time together that make this project truly worthwhile.

A nice tribute shot. Beautiful really. So much to learn from wise old folks.

Sorry, I left my previous comment before I saw the caption. A very nice gesture to show that he is missed.
