In my few hours in the coastal section of the national park, my guide found quite a bit of wildlife, birds of course, plus two species of squirrel.
The Javan Rusa is a large deer, and with those antlers it is hard to believe it could live in such densely thickety vegetation.
Indeed, so thick was the vegetation that I could hardly see the Rusa at the time; I’ve managed to bring it out a bit in processing the image.
