I went to a benefit concert for "The Dolphin Project," on 08/02/1976. It featured, Freddie Neil
(Everybody's Talkin'), John Sebastian and a bunch of other Grove luminaries. It was kind of funny that Jimmy Buffett's name was on the marquee out front, but I don't remember him showing up! I was 17 years old and had a steak and a couple Heinekens (didn't get carded) before the show at The Taurus next door...
Smoked a big fattie just before goin' in with my buddy. It was a great show! I miss Freddie Neil!

I was born at Mercy Hospital in January 1959 and grew up in Coconut Grove. My grandparents lived on Nocatee Drive in the North Grove and after my parents divorced and each got remarried, my Dad and Stepmom lived in The Moorings in the South Grove. Coconut Grove was a cool place growing up!
I have way too many tales of mayhem to tell of all the wild times I had, I could write a book! Lol...
There's too many people livin' there now with all those buildings on South Bayshore Drive!
