A rig move such as this requires at least 2 vessels.
We are towing it and the other boat will assist in
placing the rig in a exact location that must be
within a few feet. The legs are jacked down and the
pontoons on the bottom of the legs sink into the bottom.
The rig is loaded with water so the weight will cause it to
sink int. Once it is stable, the water is pumped off and the
is jacked to working height which is usually 30 feet or so
above the water.
