A Vintage View of Shiprock

Shiprock, NM

This one is just a simple application of one of the vintage B&W filters in Nik Analog Efex where I played with the toning and reduced the vignette effect.

Best viewed at original size.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 II
1/2000s f/4.9 at 37.1mm iso200 full exif

The effect delivers an image that looks as if it were shot in FDR's days.

This is very nice. The toning is a throwback to the old West. Well composed too. V

A very good view with or without the treatment.

a monumental landmark that always proves captivating....considering it's long history, about 30 million years, sepia seems most appropriate..
