The Fire King

Monument Valley, AZ

One of the fascinating "Magic" modes built into my little Olympus TG-1 is the one I used here called reflection mode. This is a picture of our campfire on top of Hunt's Mesa before our steaks were put on. While we waited for the light to hopefully get better, I did dozens of these, easily enough for their own gallery which I will do someday. In the meantime, I thought it would be fun to include a sample or two of these mirror images.

Just dye the gray embers green and you have the Great and Powerful Wizard of Oz!! I can even see his face in the flames. What fun you must have had creating this one. Nice job!

Very cool, but I'm a little concerned about the malevolent king at top centre. :-)
