And for comparison, this was shot at roughly the same distance as yesterdays photo, but the
difference being, that the digital zoom was off, and was shot in TIFF. Although looking at it on
screen, it's lost a fair bit of sharpness?!
Back to work after the weekend today, and it was still as hot, in fact when I got home at night the
papers were reporting the hottest day of the year, at a comfortable 30 degrees in some places.
They had Simon Calder on the radio from the Independent's Travel section doing a section. He was
speaking about the beaches of Western Isles. And felt that the beaches are so beautiful, if
marketed properly, they might in combination with the pleasent sunshine, be able to tempt people
from the Mediterranean, as it's far too hot over there!
Interesting theory, if only we could guarantee regular sunshine and lack of rain.
Some extras today too, seeing as I was able to get outside!
