12-07-05 not long now

There are only a couple more weeks until the start of the season, and already I’ve got an away game
under my belt! A visit to Montrose on a sunny evening in July, granted, isn’t similar to a
European final in March, but from small acorns…..

More to the point it was an excuse to get out for an evening, and shoot off down the coastal road
to Montrose in the evening sun with my Dad. We had taken a Polish International on trial, so we
wanted to see what this guy was like. Not too bad at all, in the end, we managed to come away with
a two nil win, with our new arrival scoring one of them.

The photo here is of the Montrose goalkeeper, Andy Reid.

Whether it's football or football, there's nothing quite like the green green pitch at the start of the season.

I can hardly wait... This year I'm getting Celtic TV so I don't have to go to a smoky pub to watch us restored to our rightful place as Champions! Here's hoping Hearts and Aberdeen come joint second, and that R*****s get relegated!

Can't wait either, I got my first on Wednesday, like waiting on Christmas as a kid,

What I remember most about Montrose's ground is the super seating.

Boy's & their sport...we are deeply buried in the greens of St Andrews at the moment & because it's on overnight here it is videotaped & played & replayed & replayed :>)
Red appears to be a popular colour it seems.
