Today was mostly taken up by Catherine (this time) getting ready to head away on holiday. She’s
off to Spain for a week with her mum & sister. I’m working. Not that I’m bitter.

This is a shot of wild growing yellow poppies which sit outside the back door to our house. The
rhythmic lines you see in the background are the paving slabs which go round to the patio at the
back of the house. They seem quite happy there, growing up between the slabs. And although you
can’t really tell from this shot, they make a lovely splash of colour outside.
