03-06-05 homeward bound

I hadn't yet managed to get the obligatory PAD shot of a plane wing, so here it is. Still got to
try the eggs in a glass, and the contents of my bag, but there we go!

It was a bit of a worrying trip home. As you can see from the extra shot below, no sooner had we
got to the airport, than the heavens opened, and then the thunder & lightning started (although
I’ve always wondered why it wasn’t lightning and thunder?). After having the joy of sitting on the
tarmac at Heathrow for over an hour, we finally made the last bit of the trip home.

Incidentally the white spec you see just under the wing, was a nearby plane, which seemed to be
heading over to mainland europe!

Looks like an Airbus A320 from the winglet configuration - popular short-hop craft, esp. in EU. Welcome back!
