...dear Catherine, happy birthday to you.

Unfortunately it's not really been much of a birthday for her this year. Things are busy just now
that this morning, Catherine only remembered it was her birthday when I came through with her presents.
Added to this, as you can see the cake wasn't up to much this year. With most of the kitchen packed
away I couldn't find a cake or candles. So I improvised, with a Belgian truffle and a matchstick!

And as you can see I also taught myself how to put together a collage this afternoon. Although I
wasn't sure whether to use the series, or go minimalist and just use the a single photo. In the
end I thought after all the time and learning, I had better use the full series!

5 days to go, and we're almost all packed up. We also had confirmation this afternoon that our
house will be started within the next week too. It's really starting to sink in we're leaving this
place. Trouble is I can't decide whether it's a stress, or a godsend.

Anyway, off to enjoy half the birthday cake. Greedy pig!
