This is an easily adjustable border mask with brushstrokes. Place this mask on a layer above your picture. with the mask layer hi-lighted Press CNTRL-T to bring up Transform. Before you start adjusting the size, change the layer mode to Screen. Adjust the edges as required, then press layer flatten image. Select your required white border thickness with the crop tool.
