I was really drawn in by the simplicity of the original, but 'just had to' photoshop it. In CS3, Ruler to level bottom sill, layer via copy window/frame > hue/saturation > brightened. Sandstone flat surface, merged all, beveled edges and sharpened. Compare: http://www.sxc.hu/photo/1004954
