The main medium Italian bomber during World War 2, used very successfully also as a torpedo bomber in the Mediterranean.
It had another nickname: “il gobbo maledetto”, which translates to "damned hunchback". This other nickname came from the prominent hump on the top of its fuselage, which housed the dorsal gunner's position.
Not my favorite airplane in the world, but when I saw it at the modeling store, I loved its painting scheme (I painted it with airbrush) and went for it.
I hanged it in my basement ceiling next to another Italian airplane: The racer seaplane Macchi Castoldi MC 72 (the red and copper one).
