The Convent of San Bernandino of Siena

The Convent of San Bernandino of Siena in Valladolid was a treasure of light and color. I was totally captivated, losing all track of time as I wandered the arcades swimming in the soft colored light of early evening. Occasionally, melodic voices echoed from the choir practice above the sanctuary adding to the serenity of the humid evening.

The street scenes were taken while walking the 15 blocks to the Convent and back to the hotel located on the main plaza.
