The wild game was spectacular, particularly at King's Pool and Little Mombo. Jao, being mostly a water camp, didn't have the same abundance of game but did offer a unique aquatic antelope -- the Sitatunga. Elephants, hippos, most antelope, and lions were fairly common. While usually not very common, we were fortunate to see leopards at all three camps. But we did have to work quite hard to find cheetah, and only then did we find them on our last game drive at Little Mombo. At King's Pool we were quite lucky to see a pack of 16 wild dogs, as well as Roan and Sable antelope.
