It's hard to describe how this national park impressed me. Its uniqueness and colours were just fascinating. I was lucky to have avoided the predicted thunderstorm, yet I was somewhat disappointed - the Old Faithful was not that faithful that day, for all we saw was steam, not water, at the precisely calculated time of eruption.

When my tour arrived at Yellowstone, it was already after 4 p.m. We spent 3 hours there (photos 1-12 were taken on the first day) before checking in a hotel inside the park. The next day we started early. Before 6 am we were aready in the swamp area, walking in the fog. We did not stay there the whole day, but we explored a couple of basins and geysers (photos 13-63 were taken on the second day), which were the main attractions for most tourists.
