Some people who live outside U.S. may not know that Sacramento is the capital of California State, and some people who live within the U.S. may not know that there's an old town in Sacramento, officially known as the Old Sacramento.

As soon as my friend Vasco suggested to take me there to see something different, I was almost electrified - for I love all the old towns I have seen in Europe. The Old Sacramento is a place that would remind you of the western movies. While pacing on the boardwalk pavements which were raised about 1 foot higher than the streets, seeing all the signs of the stores and saloons, I couldn't help let my imagination run wild - picturing a cowboy coming to town, and his rival might be hiding around the corner, listening to the footsteps when his cowboy boots hit the wood....

We were also joined by our mutual friend Salomon, who has been living there for years. He showed us around the old town. It is indeed a very interesting place for tourists.
