Immediately after the Flam train ride, we ran to the pier to board the sightseeing ship for a cruise on the longest and deepest Norwegian fjord. Almost as soon as the ship left the shore, it began to rain. Practically speaking during most of the ride I was sitting on the deck holding my umbrella tight, because it was very windy. When I found some interesting subject I had to close the umbrella, stood up and walked to take a shot or two. Afterwards I returned to my seat, holding the umbrella and wiping the lens and camera .... till they got wet again.
