It was my last day in the Innsbruck area. Most of the places I travelled to around Innsbruck were unplanned, especially Rattenberg. After visiting Kufstein, there was still sunlight, I could easily skip a sit-down dinner anytime for an additional small town, and that was how Rattenberg became my last stop before returning to Vienna.
My instinct can be reliable, at least sometimes. The excursion to Rattenberg turned out to be a pleasure. Most of the houses along the main streets in this neat and quiet little town are painted in pastel colours. It was just past 6 p.m., and the shops, mostly selling crystal and glasswares, were already closed. Perhaps it's not one of the popular places for tourists, the only people I saw were those who gathered inside the cafes or restaurants relaxing after work, which made it perfect for photography shooting.
