Day 8 - My last day in Austria. Maybe I was too ambitious, I wanted to venture myself in one more city before flying back home.

This time, a 3-hour train ride from the South Station brought me to Graz, the second biggest city of Austria. I took a tram to the city centre, but wow, the crowd and the open market in front of the beautiful city hall was hiding half of it. Since I had limited time here, I decided to photograph only the Mur Island (a manmade island that serves as a bridge over the Mur River, with a bar in the middle of it), and the Schlossberg. I still had to go back to Vienna to take more pictures.

What a joy, the Schlossberg simply offered me with the opportunity to take a top shot of the City Hall together with the other famous buildings and churches. The Kunsthaus (Art Museum) is absolutely unique. Next time I will spare more time for Graz - oh, yes, that's one of the strong reasons to go back to Austria, one day.
