Ouarzazate is a desert city at the gate of Sahara. In the morning there was an optional tour to see the Sahara sunrise (photos included in the last sub-gallery). Film production is an important industry here. Their film studios have provided plenty of assistance and sets for many grand movies for decades.

In Morocco there are a lot of Unesco World Heritage Sites, almost in every city I went to there is at least one. In Ouarzazate there is Ait Benhaddou which is situated on a hill, famous for its kasbahs (architecture designed to house hundreds of people).
