The Schooner Ancud (or Goleta Ancud) was a historic Chilean Navy vessel that sailed in 1843 under Captain John Williams Wilson.
Its daring expedition successfully claimed the Strait of Magellan for Chile and established the fort Fuerte Bulnes, cementing the country's sovereignty in the extreme south of Patagonia.
