Being called the Pearl of Lake Como, Bellagio is a cozy lakeside town, though many people may know the name as a luxurious casino hotel in Las Vegas.

Bellagio has long been famous for its situation at the tip of the peninsula separating the lake's two southern arms, with the Alps across the lake to the north. The Alps wasn't clearly visible when I was there due to the misty sky. We had a little over an hour to explore the cobble stone lanes up and down before taking the speed boat back to the City of Como.
