Today was ice harvest day. One of two they will do this winter. This is the second time I watched an ice harvest and photographed it, I will upload those images in another gallery, but I will never ever forget the day Lizzy came running up the hill from her farm to my backyard to tell me Joe was building her an ice house and she will have ice all summer! Her bonneted face was pure joy!!
