June 29, 1947 – November 16, 2006
You may remember this image from June, 2006 – one of my dearest friends
Harold W. Creech
was shot and killed on Thursday, 11-16-2006.
HC, today your body will be released to go home, to your beloved state of NC. Even though you lived here for the last 9 years, I know, your heart was always with your home soil. We had lots of laughs, lots of crying and lots of hoping. I will miss our weekly dinners and countless arguments about our children, politics, sports, etc.
I will not rest until I know why you were taken from us at this early age.
Thank you for the past 9 years.
Good-bye my dear sweet friend, I will miss you very much,
all my love and will catch you on the “flip side”.
Love, DL
“The man who opened fire during a meeting in a Baltimore County office was a computer technician who killed his supervisor before taking his own life, according to police and company officials. Morris Keith Lyons, who managed the help desk at BD Diagnostics Systems in Sparks, shot the company's director of information technology (HC) several times in the upper body early Thursday afternoon, police said yesterday. The victim, Harold W. Creech, had come to Lyons' second-floor office at a company facility in the Loveton Center business park.” (from the Baltimore Sunpaper)
