During the Christmas holidays from 2002-03, the Tuscan restaurant, all based and dedicated to the Italian lyrical opera, "Il Trovatore", commissioned David a large scale mural on one of its walls inspired by Verdi's opera with the same name as the restaurant.

"It was a pleasant work since this opera has always been one of my favourites and I always wanted to do something based on it. So I reproduced one of the most significant scenes of the story trying to place it, with a free-style reproduction, on the stage of one of the most prestigious theatres of Italy, 'la Scala di Milano' " says the artist.

The photographs were taken by the Australian artist Geoffrey Green while working but we still do not have the images in colour from the process, as well as the photographs of the final work. As soon we have them we will display them in this gallery.
