We walk on to the junction of Botany Road, Foreshore Road and Penrhyn Rd. The street directory maps,
which we resort to using on this occasion, suggest that Penrhyn Road is a public thoroughfare leading
to a boat ramp and locations from which planes may be seen utilising one of the airport runways
sticking out into Botany Bay. It had also promised views of ships at the wharves. Alas we are
confronted with a building site, to which access is denied. Oh bother!!
