This old enclosure at La Perouse has been the location for a famous "snake show". I first saw the
show as a small child. Various species of snake are released in the enclosure - including some
of the world's most deadly species (I might add). Curiously the most recent La Perouse "snake man",
the grandson of the man I must have seen, recently retired.
