As we head south we get a better look at Magic Point Headland where there is situated the Anzac
Rifle Range. Access to the cliff edge is prohibited because when the range is in use, passers-by
might easily catch a stray bullet - which could well ruin one's day, to say the least. Locals
insist that "you're not SUPPOSED to go around there but everybody does" and provide reassuring
thoughts such as "you really only have to worry when you see the red flag". Huh! Which red flag?
There IS a red flag on a flagpole. I can see it clearly. Was that THE red flag?
It looks awfully cold out there. The Walking Coastal Sydney marked red route heads inland at
this point. I am a card carrying coward at the best of time. Let's go inland.
