Here we are. We've just arrived from Bondi Junction by bus and are now working on the serious business
of securing nice hot cups of coffee before renewing the trek south. The time is 8:30am, the sun has
been up for about an hour and a half but there is a yellow glow in the mostly overcast sky as if the
the sun were just now emerging. Bondi is a lot less "seedy looking" than I remember it although in
truth I cannot recall with any accuracy the last time I was here .... if you don't count last Friday.
There are nice wide pedestrian ways, the shops have mostly been renewed in the last decade or so.
It's a pretty pleasant environment, although compared with summer days, things seem pretty quiet, really.
