I used to live out in this hell-hole when I was a kid. Your photos should be expanded to capture the less than artistic side of life. Let people know that it is a wasteland that is too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter.

What a fabulous gallery! I was going to comment on a few pictures, but there are just too many good ones. I think my favorite is Airsteam...great composition! Love the subject matter, I want to do a photo trip like this too sometime.

I wrote a book on the "Route 66" TV series but have never seen the highway up close. Fine photos - they're pure Americana and they bring back an era that's sadly long gone.

How I would love to travle Route 66. I can well imagine steppting back into time with each photograph that you have displayed here. The stories that could be heard upon the light wind of the desert.
