I often like to stop and see the simple beauty that humans create - here the light floods this image in a way that allows me to notice what I might ordinarily pass right by in the noon light.
It is amazing how different this image is from Winn's interpretation (http://www.pbase.com/winnk/image/62490721 ) and my own (http://www.pbase.com/pnd1/image/62019163 ). Each of them uses light to express meaning. Yours is the most detailed, yet the most abstract of the three versions. I love the way the rhythms of the columns are repeated again in the water. We could be looking at medieval cathedral here.
