(NOTE): Daniel Boyte left his father's farm when he was about 25 years old. He was not heard from for many years, but about 1880 his son, Lee, visited with the family in Charlotte, NC. Daniel had moved to Arkansas, near Little Rock, and was still living there in 1880.

Lee Boyte, b. abt 1860. He was a merchant in Charlotte, NC. He died in Charlotte about 1930.
