* I believe the father of Jacob Langston to be Absolom (Absalom,
Absolam) Langston; however, I found Absolom Langston in the Lenoir County,
NC census of 1800. My probable dates on this Absolom Langston are b. 1749,
d. 1819? I have not been able to reconcile my Lenoir County, NC, lineage with the Wayne County, NC lineage.
