I know it’s ANOTHER deer shot, but I like it….

After work I took a short catnap and when I woke up the skies had actually cleared! It’s been raining here a lot lately and very gray outside. Anyway, I just HAD to get outside and away from this city! I borrowed Cat’s car and headed for a “short drive” through the countryside. I was getting frustrated as I drove, the lighting was very nice but I couldn’t find a subject I wanted to shoot. As I turned homeward after poking around for two hours I came across this dear in a field close to the road. Stopping the car, I carefully wormed my 6’+ frame out of the sunroof. The deer just stood there with this dumbfounded look on her face. I had time to change my settings and focus. I snapped a few of her just standing there and then she turned and began to LEAP away. Carefully timing her motions I tried to get her in mid-leap.
