Brady's Run Park, PA

I went with my sweetie to the Brady’s Run maple Festival to shoot Civil War era re-enactors. This is a member of the 63rd Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Co. C. I found them to be very interesting subjects to shoot but my shot angles were very limited due to the fact that they were on the edge of the festival and I didn’t want to get a jumble background. I just didn’t think that booths selling all kinds of stuff, people in modern cloths and cotton candy vendors looked very “period.” LOL

This image is from my 63rd PVI Co. C Gallery.

These guys work hard to look authentic. Nice shot and B&W, brown?

Nice image. We love going to reenactments. Civil War Heritage Days in Gettysburg is fun, but we really like going to the reenactments in the more remote areas, so it seems more "real". New Market, VA has a real nice one in May. It is a beautiful, tiny little town in the Blue Ridge Mountains. In the early morning, the soldiers often seem to still be lurking about.
