Today I woke early to take my girlfriend's daughter fishing. We hiked back to one of my favorite spots on Slippery rock Creek. From 6Am until 1PM we had a fun day of fishing and exploring the stream. At one point she turned to me and said, "When you first asked me to go, I didn't want to get up so early, but now I am glad I did." :-D

I like this photo because of the light. My son and I call it "God's Light" – when we see rays of sunshine coming through clouds or trees.

Serene, dream-like, peaceful. Lovely image, Ron - great exposure and a lovely composition. I really like the branches hanging down at the very top of the frame. Wonderful! :>
