La lumière de Bouddha.

Thimphu - West Bhutan.

Le grand bouddha Dordenma (51 mètres de haut - achevé en 2010) domine toute la vallée de Timphu. Orienté à l’Est il reçoit les premiers rayons du soleil levant et brille sur la capitale. Il semble que cela rende les Bhoutanais heureux : ils se sentent ainsi bénis chaque jour par la lumière de Bouddha.

The great Buddha Dordenma (51 metres high - completed in 2010) dominates the entire Timphu Valley. Facing east, it receives the first rays of the rising sun and shines on the capital. It seems that this makes the Bhutanese happy: they feel blessed every day by the light of Buddha.
