The Black-throated Green Warbler is one of the most common spring migrants on the Texas coast. For whatever reason, this spring I didn’t even see one until the third week of April. I’m guessing it was just a quirk of the weather and that I spent almost all of my time in one location this year. When this one finally appeared in front of me it sure was exciting!
