Shortly after I photographed this Black-throated Green warbler I heard a young man who had also photographed it what kind of bird it was. The answer he received was, “a Black-throated Green Warbler.” The young man quickly replied that it wasn’t green! I agree, it doesn’t look terribly green to me but sometimes with bird names you need to use a little imagination.
