Cariama cristata

The Red-legged Seriema was one of our top target birds during our pantanal trip. We went out searching for them one morning and boy were our efforts rewarded when two of them walked very near where we were standing. I really couldn’t believe how lucky we were to get such great views of these magnificent birds.
