Graduation, with Kathy and our kids (Jesse, in front; teenager Rosalinda in the back between Kathy and "Auntie Dana" Phippen; and Robbie, being held by "Uncle Mark" Phippen, on the left), as well as our best friends, the Phippen family (from left: Sara, Katie, Maria and their Mom, Cristina).
The kid who spent all his time on the tennis courts and barely managed a 2.0 GPA at Napa JC from '64-'66 found maturity (a little) and responsibility (a lot) in the intervening years. Appreciating my good fortune at being funded for schooling, I all but lived at the library on campus, had flash burns from using the photocopiers, and pulled a 3.9 GPA in grad school. Go figure.
