This is a cropped macro photo. The caterpillar is less than 1/4" long. It is very young. Older caterpillars have more substantial spikes. As they get larger the color changes to white with black and red spots. This is probably the first instar. Note: This image has been replaced, EXIF data displayed is not correct.
