At the end of December an annual bird count takes place in the Cowichan Valley.
For those that can't get out and count one of the many zones in the Valley, they can
count the birds in their own back yard. Later in the day, they gather to share results
and enjoy some hot drinks and warm food. The photo is of my bird feeder on a rainy day :)
