Transfer Beach is a large park and a major gathering spot for summer activities, festivals, special attractions and community events.

The park has an ample number of picnic tables and on a sunshine day most will be in use. Some are hidden nicely under the shade of trees while others are out in the open under the glare of the sun. Because of the thick, soft grass lawns in the park many bring a beach blanket and enjoy the day in sunshine bliss. ~ British Columbia Parks
